Protocol is ready to get the party started in 2023 with their first release of the year coming from Timmo Hendriks, who teamed up for the third time with his friend Lindequist for a vocal progressive house gem – “On My Mind.” The track with ethereal vocals atop undulating melodies that begin its uplifting ascent towards rhythmic bassline and driving percussion.
As real friends, both Timmo Hendriks and Lindequist made their debut on Nicky Romero’s label together with 2018’s “Thinking About You” single, followed by their 2020’s graceful progressive collab “Together,” to finally meet for the third time in 2023 on “On My Mind.” And it’s not the first time when Timmo Hendriks has opened Protocol Recordings’ release catalog in a new year. In 2020 he kicked it off with “By Your Side” with Jordan Grace, and again in 2021 with also Jordan Grace-assisted “Memories.”
